Where Ethiopians in Europefind each other በአውሮፓ ያሉ ኢትዮጵያውያንየሚገናኙበት

It began in 2002, with a founding meeting in Rotterdam and a first tournament in Stuttgart the year after. What started as a football gathering became something much larger — the biggest annual meeting point for the Ethiopian diaspora across the continent.

A week where children hear Amharic spoken by thousands of people at once. Where families scattered across Europe stand on the same field.

We are not writing this petition because we have given up. We are writing it precisely because we have not.

ጅማሬው በ2002 በሮተርዳም በተካሄደ የመሥራች ስብሰባ ሲሆን፣ በቀጣዩ ዓመት የመጀመሪያው ውድድር በስቱትጋርት ተካሄደ። እንደ የእግር ኳስ መሰባሰብ የጀመረው ነገር በጣም ትልቅ ወደሆነ ነገር አደገ — በአኅጉሩ ውስጥ ላለው የኢትዮጵያ ዲያስፖራ ትልቁ ዓመታዊ መገናኛ።

ልጆች አማርኛ በሺዎች በሚቆጠሩ ሰዎች ሲነገር የሚሰሙበት ሳምንት። በአውሮፓ ዙሪያ የተበተኑ ቤተሰቦች በአንድ ሜዳ ላይ የሚቆሙበት።

ይህን አቤቱታ የምንጽፈው ተስፋ ስለቆረጥን አይደለም። የምንጽፈው ተስፋ ስላልቆረጥን ነው።

The founders built something remarkable, and the community remains genuinely grateful. This petition is not a call to push anyone aside.

It is a call for a succession plan. For term limits or rotation where they make sense. For real pathways so that younger members — and members with professional skills in event management, finance, hospitality and public relations — can contribute and eventually lead.

We are asking ESCFE to plan that handover openly, while the goodwill to do it well still exists.

መሥራቾቹ አስደናቂ ነገር ገንብተዋል፤ ማኅበረሰቡም ያለው ምስጋና እውነተኛ ነው። ይህ አቤቱታ ማንንም ወደ ጎን ለመግፋት የቀረበ አይደለም።

ይህ የተተኪነት ዕቅድ እንዲኖር የሚጠይቅ ነው። አግባብ በሆነበት የሥልጣን ዘመን ገደብ ወይም ሽግግር። ወጣት አባላት — እንዲሁም በዝግጅት አስተዳደር፣ በፋይናንስ፣ በእንግዳ አቀባበልና በሕዝብ ግንኙነት ሙያዊ ክህሎት ያላቸው — አስተዋጽኦ አድርገው በመጨረሻም እንዲመሩ እውነተኛ መንገዶች እንዲኖሩ።

ESCFE ያንን ሽግግር በግልጽ እንዲያቅድ እንጠይቃለን፤ ያንንም በሚገባ ለማድረግ የሚያስችለው በጎ ፈቃድ ገና ባለበት ጊዜ።
